Frogging, again - purkamista, taas

I finlly got the backside of this VERY boring vest finished only to realize that it's too short. I did not wish to frog the top so I figured a better way - two straight needles, three rows and scissors. This is how it ended up. I knit about 10cm more and later put the pieces back together again. Clever. A critical eye can see a very slight difference where the join is, but nobody will pay attention to that unless they know.

I have no idea whatsoever what these things are called in English and I don't really have the time to surf the web just in case somebody somewhere made a pair and they actually have a name. If anybody knows, please tell me. However these were made for a very good friend of mine upon her request. NOT my kinda thing because my fingertips are always icecold :) Nice to make, but required quite a few changes to the pattern to turn out alright.
